Paster -- who has raised funds for many statewide campaigns including Senator Barbara Boxer, former Controller Steve Westly, and most recently Steve Bing’s Yes on 87 ballot measure -- is tasked with raising millions of dollars for the Obama campaign from California and the Pacific Northwest. Paster has deep roots in San Francisco and recently moved to Los Angeles, where she will be working the Hollywood money for the Illinois Senator.
The race for California dollars, already begun, now shifts into high gear.

this seems kind of dumb, since obama already has his own website and is declaring in 12 days. speaking of twelve, they've only raised 12k! what gives?
Well, compared to the other Obama raisers they have done well. He has raised a total of $16,250.56 through ActBlue. Tops right now are Edwards $644,810.48 and Richardson $130,606.57, though they are running all of their contributions through the site, which is fabulous. It will help build up our infrastructure and ActBlue in particular. Hillary has raised, wait for it, wait for it... $1.
It should also be pointed out that neither Edwards nor Richardson had raised anywhere near $16K on ActBlue until they launched their own websites and funneled all contributions through the site. The money raised for Obama has been done independently of his official campaign.
