Health Care: Taking It to the Streets

December 19, 2007 @ 9:00 AM
Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez and Governor Schwarzenegger kicked off a weeklong tour of the state to tout the Assembly-passed Democratic health care bill in Los Angeles yesterday. Today there'll be in San Diego; Thursday they are slated to be in Fresno and the Bay Area.

At each event they'll be joined by the broad coalition of supporters of the Nunez/Perata bill: consumer groups, labor, the AARP, and childrens health care groups.

And today there's also expected to be some national recognition of the effort. Stay tuned.
